How to play this weird kingdom?

It's probably have been discussed somewhere... not sure.

The kingdom is the following:

Chapel, Smugglers, Thief, Pirate Ship, Cache, Highway, Noble, Harem, King's Court, Peddler

I'd say this is a deck for Hans Solo seeing as the winner will probably smuggle themselves to victory.  Chapel down the starting deck, get a highway or two and use KC-->Smugglers to rapidly increase your decks ability to function by leaching off the purchases of the opponent.

Chapel into a Highway deck, picking up a smugglers. Maybe a KC (highway-highway-KC-Smugglers for 3X province..) and some nobles get picked up, maybe gold is my first reaction.

lol I see myself just going full-on highway if that becomes a mirror and then going "well then..." and getting more KCs until they are all gone and just 3-piling with my opponent until one of us buys a victory card and gets smuggled to death.

In other words:
Hilariously annoying kingdom to watch played in real life :)

I guess my question is whether the game will lag forever between two experienced players, or it will be determined by random early VP buys that are not smuggled, or there is some clever way to break the degenerate state...

Not sure why it would take forever, surely the maths favour whoever buys the first province?

Nothing stopping you from smuggling 7, at least not that I can see...assuming you purchased sufficient smugglers, which i would think to be smart...

It was referenced to this "Maybe a KC (highway-highway-KC-Smugglers for 3X province"

To get 7 in one go, surely that would take some time, and all opponent would need to do is buy one before your engine got set up, and then its stalemate until the piles run out? In which case the person with the already bought province wins.

I was thinking about a deck with 2*Highway 2*KC 2*Smuggler; once you have the deck you can smuggle 6 whenever your opponent get one. But yeah, the Chapel reduce the chance to 5/7.

Maybe one needs a few couple more engine components? Then the smuggler frenzy starts. Probably an early VP card or 2 can lead you to victory, if it did not hinder you that much...

Oh but it isn't. You can smuggle the last pile card for a potential 3-pile, while buying a province, creating a Nim-like madness if this stalemate were to actually occur.
