This is the problem.  In isolation, he reads very towny.  I need to think about this more, probably over the night.  It's his interactions with other reads of mine that I find scummy.

I have no clue what WW or EFHW are doing. I could not tell you whether they are trying to frame me as a partner to be falsely townread by my flip or whether they are just reading the same damn game I am and coming to the same conclusions.

I'm not familiar with Governor, but the mechanic reminded me of Bodyguard - taking a bullet for another player. If Governor fits better, I'll take your word for it.

yeah, if someone would be lynched, EFHW dies in their place (as long as she elects to do that, it is optional)

Bodyguard is for killing abilities, like factional kill or Vig. Governor prevents a lynch (can be done after the hammer). This is like that, but takes the place instead of prevents.
