I'm happy to go for gkrieg.

But I don't think what e is saying represents what actually happened with the Jake wagon.

What actually happened was the Jake wagon grew up to a certain size super quickly, then stalled out, noone else voted for him, so the people voting for him eventually gave up and looked elsewhere.  If not evidence for scum!Jake, this is at the very least NOT evidence for town!Jake.

Anyway,

vote: gkrieg

Also, PRs, however great they are, are never so important that we lose the game by lynching them (unless specifically stated)

So Jake, iguana. Sure, you have great PRs. But we lose the game when people like me don't post and interact not by your PRs.

I'm not saying we lose the game even by lynching me. It just makes it harder to win, by some amount (I don't know the amount) more than an ordinary mislynch would. If you are rereading, I recommend looking hard at Gkrieg, specifically the second half of this day phase.
I don't know what you mean by this.  I'm happy to see a case, but I don't see much that's exactly hyperscummy about gkrieg's play.

I'm voting for him because:
a) Big PoE.
b) We need a lynch.
c) People seem to prefer lynching him to Jake
d) He's a good enough scum player that I wouldn't necessarily see much scumminess.

I mean EFHW, here.

I agree with e that Jake's disappearing wagon looks smellier than gkrieg's.

I'd absolutely do Ichi, but noone seems to agree with me, I don't get the feeling that a wagon on him is viable.
Stop being so scummy! You're reducing your accountability when lynching someone other than me.

Also, I'm here and can vote.

Vote Count 3.5

gkrieg13 (5): iguanaiguana, EFHW, Awaclus, Witherweaver, Haddock
iguanaiguana (4): gkrieg13, Galzria, DatSwan, chairs

Not Voting (5): ashersky, SpaceAnemone, 2.71828....., JaketheBaseballGod22, Dylan32, silverspawn

With 14 alive, it takes 8 to lynch. Day 2 ends December 4 at 12:30 pm forum time. That is in 3 hours.

I could see it both ways. Jake's lynch seemed inevitable for awhile, and scum wouldn't want to look too eager, so they'd wait to jump on hoping they wouldn't even have to. Or, we had as many town votes as we were going to get and scum were staying off to protect him. Either WW or iguana pointed out that no alternative wagons coming up made Jake seem townier, which I think makes a lot of sense.

Here and all caught up, more or less. I'll vote gkrieg to get a lynch through, but I think I prefer Jake.

Skimming over before the proper read, I was really confused at Jake's disappearing wagon, and I think Jake would be more informative because of the way WW steered so carefully away from it when it started to look like a high risk.

Strongly disagree with the bolded part.  There is no lynch that seems inevitable when we have to living players who cannot vote.

But yeah I lean more towards the italicised theory.

Anyway.

Whiffy Witherweaver :P

Still need votes from e, Space (PPE: OK), Jake, Dylan.
Galz, Swan, chairs should obviously consider swapping, either now or at deadline (I'm still happy to swap just before deadline).

Count of people who I can remember having expressed interest in voting Jake over gkrieg:
me, Space, e.
I'm not going to swap to Jake right now unless enough people come out and say they want to vote there - a 3 person wagon is not what we need just before deadline - but if there are enough people who prefer Jake I will 100% go there.

Another thought: is it possible that the freezing mechanic interacts with the colours at all? Like if PPS was just one colour in the palette, and another colour is reserved for frozen people, who don't then show up as their true alignment? It would mean colour changes for ash and silver, and the consequences of running that through the possible puzzle solutions might expand the size of the scum party to a more balanced-sounding number. That's on the assumption that ~5 might be balanced, given the freezing traitor and the Schadd-role traitor and perhaps 3 actual full mafia.

Not worth debating now instead of talking lynch candidates, but I want it out there in case Haddock wants to consider it in the night.

I strongly prefer Iguana >> Jake >>> Gkrieg

Gkrieg is a scapegoat lynch used by people like WW and Iguana to pull away from Jake over the weekend when the thread got quiet as it always does during that time.

Iguana falls dead center into the PoE of Haddock, as well as the placement for where scum should be in the draft. He is absolutely the #1 most likely scum amongst the 3, and his push (along with WW who also falls in Haddock's PoE - although he quickly and conveniently removed himself from discussion) along with WW for Gkrieg means I will NOT lynch Gkrieg today.

We can do Iguana (except EFHW ridiculously prevented that. Good job saving scum. Also, why did 2.7 get a confirmation on this action?), or Jake, or no lynch, or you can lynch Gkrieg without me.

To be clear: I'll take no lynch over Gkrieg.

vote: Jake

I strongly disagree with iguana lynch.

Do you have a reason beyond reads to think Iguana is townie? I feel like there was WW-iguana cooperation in the scummy-looking diversion from the Jake wagon, so I'd agree with what Haddock later said about the pair of them being partnerish.

Response from faust: I would see a Godfather as Red.
This seems like a reasonably likely answer given that the current possibilities that are consistent with my results indicate too few scum.
Not worth worrying about right now.

@Galz:  Jake, gkrieg and iguana are all equally in my PoE.  Noone else is (except maybe silver?) - in the sense that these are the people who lie in both of the sets of people who we know there are "3 scum in".  WW is PoEd also but to a lesser extent.

Galz, if you strongly prefer iguana to Jake, then stay there - you're currently the only person on Jake, and I don't think 8 people want to go for Jake, whereas iguana is still a feasible lynch.

That makes 4 people who want to vote Jake over gkrieg, though. (If this number reaches 8 we should all go there.)
PPE that's 5 then.

This is fine as long as you and Galz are ready to go back to iguana close to deadline - with Swan and chairs apparently not around, iguana is looking like a likelier lynch than Jake.

I think e not being here is a shame, but he can be trusted to act in town's best interest to get a vote through.

Jake not even voting in self-preservation is a bit worrying. @Jake, if you could please vote for gkrieg, that would help your case enormously...

Man. I had four strips of bacon yesterday. Was one automatically undercooked, one automatically overcooked? No, let's put a stop to that right here, all four strips were excellent.

I strongly prefer Iguana >> Jake >>> Gkrieg

Gkrieg is a scapegoat lynch used by people like WW and Iguana to pull away from Jake over the weekend when the thread got quiet as it always does during that time.

This is a misrepresentation.
