I'll be honest - as a person playing this game, I have trouble digesting the hyper-aggressive way that you respond to someone trying to make a case that you may be scum. Calling everything I say bullshit and rubbish, saying I am getting up on a high horse -- even things like calling PPS monumentally stupid for not reading the fine print on the item he bid for - just seems really unneccessary to me.

If you think I am lying and manufacturing everything I say, why not just ask me questions designed to expose the flaws in my reasoning and make them more clear for everyone to see?

If you can't play a little less crass, I am going to have a hard time arguing with you or treating anything you say as more than just textbook OMGUS.

I may have overreacted a bit to what looks to me like a deliberate attempt to misrepresent me.  I still believe that that's what you're doing, but even scum!you doesn't deserve an explosion like that from me.  I'm sorry.

I won't apologise to PPS; I think he'll be agreeing with me from the speccy that he screwed up bigtime.  (Unless there was some mod-error that caused all of this, which is unlikely from faust.)


 
I don't tend to "answer a question with a question" very much.  I think I've exposed the flaws in your reasoning myself without asking you questions that you could then twist to suit you.  If you strip the (unnecessary - again I apologise) emotional language from my previous post, I think you'll see I'm just defending myself from an unwarranted attack.

Why would PPS be more likely to be lying?

Why is that grounds for frustration? One player scumreading you for what you think are terrible reasons happens like 4 of 5 games.

TBH Haddock I dont have a strong scumread on anyone. Mostly I scumread PPS and now he's dead. So after he died I just used his flip to try to find something else to go off of and didn't find much.

I thought near the start of the day that among you, WW and Ash could be scum from the way you responded to PPS. I saw towny stuff later from WW, a mix of things from Ash, and nothing from you.

I know you were busy. But the towniest thing you've said all game is 'I have weak to moderate reason to believe there are third parties.' And actually, that's more of just a likely-to-be-true statement,  not really a town indicative thing.
