I don't think the health discussions are all that useful for helping us catch scum, because there's no way to verify whet anyone says about their own health. It looks towny to claim low health because you can claim you think the scums targeted you with their faction weapon... but scums can claim low health just as easily as badly-hit town.

Request for a prod on Silver -- he's been gone from here for over 24 hours, while posting plenty in RSP :-(

That's different. RSP usually doesn't require thought because I'm only reading off conclusions I already have. Posting there is part of mental relaxation in between pieces of work. Posting in mafia is the opposite, that requires active thought and is exhausting (at least if the post is substantive).

Let's not lynch chairs. Then all my effort has been inconsequential!

I feel that's a very weak argument. And "all my effort" coming from you is really laughable given how much you've totally neglected this game :-(

I meant effort as in damage. The point is that we should kill him via health rather than via lynch.

Which I kind of still think. I want him killed but I feel like we're wasting a lynch that we could use on someone with high health.

I can understand that, but it's possible that several scums are on low health, and the benefit of killing a top scum read now is that they don't get to mess with us in the night. That's particularly effective for Chairs, because he can guarantee himself first place, meaning he gets to do damage before any towns-worms can do anything about it.

If this continues I would personally like to see some mod action taken against e. This is a multiple offence. An apology from e wouldn't go amiss either.

I also think Schadd is scummy.

He's not someone I'll vote for today.

Want to lynch: Chairs, e, RR.

Will happily consider: Haddock, Silver.

Rather not: Mail-mi, Schadd, J Reggie.
i have pretty much this same list except replace me with you and uh kick j reggie up to the mid tier

Spooky. And yet you're not even posting intent, let alone claiming yourself a nice shiny hammer on Chairs?

Good.

Town, have you all remembered to place your bids? Now is not a good time to have a bunch of nearly-dead worms getting squished by bidding penalties.

My very first game I made it my personal mission to lynch archetype due to his inactivity. I made several of the same points in that game. He ended up being town.

After that I learned to be more lenient against lurkers. It still hurts town, but it doesn't mean that person is scum.

Basically, arguments condemning lurkers for the sake of their lurking are detrimental to the game in my opinion. I like to encourage activity rather than condemning for inactivity. Life happens sometimes. Mafia is not always a priority

I'm clearly not pushing to lynch Silver right now -- I have my sights firmly set on Chairs, with you as my preferred backup.

I'm more disappointed if Silver's town, really, because I need allies, and I value the way his rational mind works. I just need the rest of town to find itself some motivation and come in here and play, and "commitment" is a good word. Even if Silver is scum, which is still a possibility, I think the game would have been improved for all the rest of the players if he'd been more active in it.

Hmm.  It's not quite the apology to Space I'd like to see, but OK.

I may have overreacted slightly, I apologise.

Still more than happy to see a chairs lynch.  I have a mild preference for schadd, but that doesn't really seem to be a thing.

I think a schadd lynch could be a thing. Several people have mentioned an inclination toward lynching him. We just need people to vote

I know chairs has a nice power and you don't want to lose it, but sometimes you just need to call it a day and hammer your partner.

Not enough people are going to switch, and then we'll have some dumb after-the-deadline hammer again, but this time scum will actually kill like 3 of us.

Anyone who does not share this sentiment is conf!scum. I will forego my IC power (which is very good by the way) and kill you tonight.

Scum is using their numbers to their advantage. We have to FORCE them to bus or get every single member of town together on a lynch. We could lose this game tonight or tomorrow.

Do you guys not see this???

No.
You're all mad.
Chairs was at L-1 for ages. Noone hammered. I'm trying this for tonight (irl) at least to try to get something through.
I will absolutely be back onto chairs in plenty of time for deadline if it comes to that. No timezone screw ups this time.

I currently imagine mail-mi wearing a dark trenchcoat and a bowler hat, hunched over a bit, toothpick in his mouth, holding a gun in his pocket.  One bead of sweat trickling down his nose.
