Did anyone have any thoughts about my theory?  Scum have seemed pretty underpowered, it seems likely that they have some powers we can't see.  It's the only thing that explains silver's overwhelming towniness imo.
I could see it. Especially since that concept is used in several RMM games.

silverspawn, would the Curse Card really prevent Mafia from using their factional kill? This may be obvious based on the item's wording, but if it isn't, could you ask? I'd like a second opinion besides LaLight's word and figure that you could 'legally' ask mail-mi since you've seen the item before.

As said before, scum!Arch would be a wildcard. Otherwise I agree with his analysis. There is certainly going to be a manipulative role which is quite strong evidence in favor of scum!LaLight or scum!Silver. Though I don't think a redirector would be a strong enough addition to the scum team. It would be found out quite easily and limit hos potential fake claims massively since he targets two players at a time. Pretty certain efhw is the traitor, it wouldn't make any sense to include Seprix' role otherwise (Except making us think exactly this). So I would suggest taking her out to have a better chance at hitting the last scum tomorrow since we are probably at LyLo already.

We can't explain his N1 result, so we should lynch him and have Haddock hammer.

You have not thought this through at all.

An unplausible result is only evidence that someone is lying if he could have thought it'd be plausible.

faust had died for all to see. If I had constructed a fake claim, then I'd have had free choices to make up results with any level of plausibility that I preferred. Saying any level is better or worse than any other is 100% WIFOM. There is nothing else to that argument.

1. Panicked(?) defense of Seprix.
Why is that a scum tell?

2. Failure to note discrepancy in his findings.
Why is that a scum tell?

3. Keeping his report of Egg actions separate from his report of other actions.
Why is that a scum tell?

4. Initially getting the nights and findings wrong in making his report.
Why is that in particular a scum tell? That is a town tell. You've been playing mafia. Fakeclaims have a higher % of being coherent than genuine claims. You know that.

Pretty sure that the answer is yes if it's the last mafia.

EFHW, if you play a game without investing too much thought into it, you fall into a pattern of spending an amount of time that you intuitively think is sufficient and not more. You would spend more time if something feels like an important event. Fake claiming would have almost certainly been one. Receiving No Result on faust as is wasn't, it was just a non-result, I had probably forgotten that he was in the game by that point.

Seprix role doesn't make any sense otherwise and I don't see mail-mi including an otherwise useless role to get her lynched. Including it for communication purpose is just so much more likely. Traitor would be also a good addition to enable 4-scum aligned players in this setup.

It is true that I am currently influenced by your recent weariness with being scum and thinking that you might not be putting in your 100%.

EFHW (1): Calamitas
silverspawn (2): EFHW, LaLight,

Not Voting (3): Haddock, Archetype, silverspawn

With 6 alive, it takes 4 to lynch.  Day 4 ends at 2:00 PM FT on Monday, October 10th. That's in less than 24 hours. I probably won't be on right at deadline.

I currently imagine mail-mi wearing a dark trenchcoat and a bowler hat, hunched over a bit, toothpick in his mouth, holding a gun in his pocket.  One bead of sweat trickling down his nose.

'And what is it that ye shall hope for? Behold I say unto you that ye shall have hope through the atonement of Christ and the power of his resurrection, to be raised unto life eternal, and this because of your faith in him according to the promise." - Moroni 7:41, the Book of Mormon

don't follow.
Seprix has been a mail-man with return postage. His role doesn't have any use except to enable communication between the mafia and the traitor.

ok.

This is L-1. I'll do some thinking about LaLight and loopback for any inconsistencies from him. I don't know how much access I'll have tomorrow with class, but I'll try. No one else can hammer except for Haddock.

I just completely invalidated the case on me. Whoever keeps his vote is eligible to be the auto-lynch tomorrow.

EFHW, you also seal your own death if you let this lynch go through. It will most likely decide the game.

This is particularly true for Haddock. If Haddock hammers and we even reach tomorrow, lynch him unless you hard-clear him somehow.

Oh this is brilliant.  So if I hammer, I must be scum, but if I don't hammer, I must be scum.  Come on, people, we can do better than this.  If you have a case on me, throw it out there, but this:

vote: Haddock.
is pretty awful.  I'm literally just online, (other than a minute of bleary phone-checking in bed this morning) and now any opportunity I MIGHT have had to hammer is gone anyway?  I said I would hammer if it came to it, and I still would, but now nobody is there to hammer.

The best reason to lynch Haddock is the meltdown we get to witness on the wagon runup. I mean, we should totally wagon him every day just for the lulz.
