You're probably surer than I am that they can't link their last two words.

Kill it with fire.

Guh.  Another ridiculously hard one.

I don't know.

Sink, maybe?  As in sink a ship?

Or maybe brick.

He could be going the Trump angle: "Eradicate Mexico!"

British was:
Shakespeare-You got that.
Revolution-The war! It was a big deal!
Note-Doesn't that have something to do with your money?

Greece was:
Centaur-Yeah
Then it could've been a few things. Maybe Revolution, maybe Aztec, maybe not. I sort of hoped you'd guess more British clues correctly.

Eradicate was:
Fire-Yeah
Aztec-They just disappeared, man!
Revolution-To eradicate your government.

Yes, it was, but not on this side of the Atlantic, at least not any more.

(If you wanted us to guess more British clues on the second one, you should have said Greece: Unlimited.)

The bolded ones are the ones I find really questionable.
Getting "Note" from "British" is completely insane.  Almost every currency has banknotes. :P

I did keep thinking Revolution vaguely fit with stuff, but never quite as well as other things.

Anyhoo.

British currency doesn't have very many notes, as it happens. £5, £10, £20 and the rare-and-not-accepted-everywhere £50.

I think it's just that the US refers to paper money as "bills", rather than "notes". I'm not sure what they'd call Euro notes -- RR and gkrieg, would it be a "10-Euro bill" or a "10-Euro note" to you?

And RR, what you guys call a "check" (like at a restaurant), is what we'd refer to as a "bill". Though I think what we call a "cheque" (those awful outdated sign-a-piece-of-paper money transaction things), you'd also call a "check".

Pretty sure I've still got a £1 note somewhere -- they survived in Scotland a lot longer than they did down here in England :-)
