When did I ever claim scum in a game, other than my first game?

Why? Teamyle seems to have been just doing some RVS, and diedre is reacting pretty fairly to everyone piling on him like he's a crook. Newer people reacting to pressure are not by necessity scum.

Well, they said the teamlyle is some kind of nervous. But IMO that doesn't point in either direction since newbies generally tend to get nervous when under pressure.

Ok I missed teamlyle's post the first time around.  I can see why people think it is scummy, but I don't think it is a tell either way.

I like this new mail-mi.  He seems to be a lot more active, and trying to figure things out.

Well he isn't really a newbie anymore, this is his third game, so him being nervous would be attributed to him being scum

Last game I wasn't really that relevant because my reads weren't that good. This game I'm hoping to help town more if I'm town, and help scum more if I'm scum.

None besides the 2 games that I played. I really want my reads to be better this game, and I was joking because I thought we were still in RVS.

The only thing is that Teamyle made a comment about being scum before any roles were sent via mail. Being 'unbiased' like that after the fact is weird. As scum, why not just announce how towny you are? No reason whatsoever to make a post like that.

It seems like scum strategy to try to out people who don't know what they're doing in order to get an easy mislynch. Take this post from last game:

Just to be perfectly honest, I don't have any evidence for being town, at least not more than everyone else. So I'd be suspicious if anyone trusted me too much.

This is an ugly post.  The random.org vote for RVS feels really forced like he's trying to go with the flow.  The second paragraph is forced too.  "Look how I'm worried about buddying!"

I was town last game and Haddock was scum. He was trying to out me for being awkward. And saying "this is an ugly post" to try to get a nervous/emotional reaction out of me. Same thing here. I might not be a "newbie" anymore but I still can't seem to avoid saying things that sound scummy, even though people like Joseph claim scum and no one thinks anything of it.

True, being newbie means you make mistakes as town and sound scummy. I've been there, believe me. You also sometimes draw scum and then sound scummy, too. The fact you were town last time is independent of whether you are this time.

Sucks to be mislynched.  But his post reads like appeal to emotion to me. If he's town, better to try to be helpful and ride it out.
