How would you play this?

P.S. I opened: 5/2/5/2, bought 2 cultists on 5*.

What would you do?

Save the log of the game, post it here, copy the BB code and post it in this thread: http://gokosalvager.com/kingdomvisualize

Or find the game tomorrow and use the Visualizer: http://gokosalvager.com/

Cultist seems strong as an opening, but it cannot be your permanent solution as normal; there is simply too much trashing. Ports are crucial. If you lose that split, you're done in the long term. Your game plan will be a Goons engine, so start with your Cultist junking advantage, pile the Ports, get a Masquerade in there while you're at it, trash Coppers with Bonfire, whatever it takes to get thin. Cultist can be your draw just fine, but you want to get to Goons and three pile.

I went for cultist/cultist, use bonfire to make sure I can use cultists a lot, buy market square, trash some more, gain golds, buy goons and ports; and then port/port/cultist/cultist/goons. Opponent then left: but I could buy coppers all day and then trash the with bonfire.
