Tough one.

I think my vote goes to Border Village in virtue of some residuals of "New! Shiny!" that FV doesn't have. (I don't own Hinterlands, so I play less often with BV)

It's the stronger card and I like stronger cards better than weaker cards.

Border Village narrowly defeats Fishing Village, 12 to 11.

In the poll, Fishing Village was beating up runner-up Wandering Minstrel, with Border Village way behind. Those other villages were all just acting as spoilers for Border Village; with them out of the way it was clear which village was just slightly more popular. A lesson for us all.
