One thing I still struggle with to this day is when there is both powerful junking and powerful thinning, which one to go for.  Example:
http://gokosalvager.com/static/logprettifier.html?http://dominion-game-logs.s3.amazonaws.com/game_logs/20160404/log.0.1459748680294.txt

You typically want both, meaning that you want to open Chapel and then pick up the junker later if you can't open with it.

When I played Androidominion, every time there was Cellar on the board I always thought it was Chapel and bought it.  Then I'd be confused as to why I couldn't trash my cards.

I've done that on Goko.

The only important thing about the price is that you can couple it with a powerful $5.

That's why it should have been $3. One person buys the Chapel, the other buys Mountebank, game on!

Chapel > Mountebank, easily. 5/2 flat out loses.
nope!

I thought you thought it was a slip because I said 'Jake's partners' instead of 'Roadrunner7671.'

Yup. One guy buys Chapel/Silver, and the guy stuck with 5/2 has to buy the junker. Well, Chapel can just trash that junk and build, while the other guy has to get a Chapel T3/4 and have delayed trashing, which by that time, the other guy has the junker and is a lot thinner. Easier win.

Well, right now the openings would be Chapel/Silver vs Chapel/Junker which is heavily in favor of Chapel/Junker.

On $3, the Chapel/Silver would have more of a fighting chance.

Chapel?  Never heard of this card.  Is it useful?  Was this in one of the expansions? ;D
