At least I'm not steering towards red/assassins.

SLIP is blue.

Also, we both mistook red for blue in my last post (SPINE is on our side).

No problem. I was red last time and was sure that was one of our words.

Palm?

New York!

Is Blue.  That's game!  Good rally.

@Eevee, Cash was actually intended for Shop, not Spot.  I'm guessing you were thinking like, "can you spot me?"  But Spot turned out to be ours anyway.  Barracks was Bed and Compound, and I Commissary was for Shop and Compound (prison).  I understand the Bugle choice, but I'm not seeing the Robin one.

Wow that game was a struggle for both sides. Very fun though. What was the Jameson clue?

I'm pretty sure it was a reference to J. Jonah Jameson from Spiderman. He works at the Daily Bugle in New York.

If we hadn't flipped Robin for you, I think Batman would have been a good clue for Robin and New York.

Yeah, that's what Jameson was - a little easier IRL as I can pronounce it with three syllables instead of two.  I realised afterwards I could have stretched it to 3: a SERVER brings you Jameson whiskey at a bar.

I was planning "Hood" for New York / Robin, as I usually see Gotham as a Chicago analogue to Metropolis' New York.

Persephone's third was "slip" (she erred in eating).  I thought Night might be guessed first but it was neutral so whatever.  Blackberry was for Palm (the older handheld computer).

Great game!  Bugle was a lucky catch, that would have been hard to add to our remaining words since it seemed clear that JJJ had missed.

My problem was that I wasn't familiar with Spider-Man or Mythology
