So I'm thinking RUMBLE was the clue for SOUND, ENGINE, TRAIN, and maybe PITCH?

BIOFUEL was the clue for ENGINE, CELL, and FARM?

So I'll probably guess PITCH as my extra guess this time.  I guess it could've been FIGHTER, like let's get ready to rumble.

Isn't that illegal though? The rules say one word.

I was also debating a 2 word clue that's just one thing, and didn't go with it.

We agreed to allow proper nouns though, which includes multiple word proper nouns.  It's in the rulebook!  Maybe we should have clarified that better, but  gkrieg did in the last game too (the Brazilian region name) and nobody complained.

The key thing is that the word as a whole must be considered.  For example, I could not use "Harry Potter: 2" as a clue for Truman and Clay.

I'm changing my mind about this, just because it seems mostly redundant. You could have just said "Pomfrey" here, just as "Watson" worked as a clue for me well enough, there was no need for John Watson or Mr Watson.

I don't really care either way, but I think I'll stick to shortening my multiple word proper nouns. Giving clues is easy enough when playing over the internet anyways.

George vs. George W. Bush (note that shortening to just Bush has a big difference in meaning)

Do you want to remove multiple word clues entirely? Remove them mostly, but with some exceptions (like place names)?  I don't mind either way; I was just following the precedent we had set.  FWIW, Eevee is right that it's redundant in this case.

Re: specific rules for proper nouns, I'm OK with anything.  I'd prefer place names to be allowed (even though I probably wouldn't use them much because I'm bad at geography).  If it's easier, we could restrict everything else in future games?

I thought Dinosaur was a great clue.  I was thinking of something along similar lines for Blue, though somewhat more specific.
