Any other aficionados out there?

I tend to enjoy either a medium roast that has a good bit of nuttiness/cocoa flavor or a lighter roast with more floral/fruit notes. 

My go to brew method would be the Chemex for an exceptionally smooth cup with runner up being aeropress.  The french pot seems to bring about a bit too much bitterness in my opinion.

Oh, dude. I hate to be that guy, but you do not use an apostrophe for a simple pluralization. You're better than that.

I recently got a (relatively inexpensive) espresso machine.  Just makes a simple shot of espresso.  (There is also a steaming wand but I never use it.)  It's really good.  I recommend it over drip/brew coffee.  You can always add more water (Americano style) for a drink to enjoy longer, if desired.

Okay, everyone might roast me for this, but I like frappachinos, aka ice coffee with chocolate syrup and whipped cream and liquified ice cream. Those are good. Coffee can also be good with 6 creams and 7 sugars. But I'm not really a fan of hot drinks in general.

Good coffee is super good, other coffee is usually fine. I don't really understand anything about it, though, and prefer to have tea when I get to prepare the tea using high quality leaves myself or there's another person around who can be trusted with the task.

If you look at all the members and sort them by post count, at around page 20 out of 154, you start to get only a very few if any names per page that you think you might vaguely remember having heard once. Over 2/3 of the members have never posted more than two posts, and about half of them haven't posted anything. So they're lurking or just created their accounts to ask a single question and forgot about them afterwards.

I've tried coffee for the cafeine, but it just makes me jittery, stressed and paranoid, instead of, say, awake, energetic or focused. Go figure.

Huh, not so long ago, StrongRhino was the highest respect giver, until he stopped frequenting the forum... and I just surpassed him. I might spend too much time in here (he says for the nth time).
