I think maybe SS deserves MVP for carefully thinking through the Ichi/Hydrad claims, though XP prevented two kills, which is pretty impressive.

Well, we were this close to winning when you messed up the hammer. I think that pretty much decided the game. PoE didn't really give you much of a fighting chance after that.

These things happen though. It will work out better in the future.

Town was ridiculously lucky to get away with the reckless voting. Seriously, if you vote in lylo before everyone has posted with an unclaimed cop in the game, you're just asking to lose.

MVP goes to silverspawn. XP was a consideration because of the last two nights, but ultimately town only needed XP t hit those because he was a possible mislynch. silver was the one who had to make the tough choices during the day and made the right ones, also XP was the vote on Hydrad that would have given scum the win had Seprix hammered.

Sidenote : Seprix, I'm assuming you didn't hammer because you didn't realize you'd win on the spot ?

Now the big question : why did scum lose ?

Obviously the failed quickhammer was a big deal. But I think faust definitely had to go for it in that situation, and then maybe IG could have been more subtle about it but I actually think the claim was a bad idea. Hydrad didn't actually have any particularly good results, which of course scum didn't know because the whole point of their claim was to go first so that it would be more believable.

If you don't claim, you still have to fight PoE even more because Hydrad is now an IC, but silverspawn and especially XP would have been quite lynchable at some point. By forcing the issue, scum basically made the Hydrad/IG choice worth the whole game.

Hindsight is 20/20 obviously, but I did think the claim wasn't necessary at the time given how ahead they were. Thoughts ?

Yeah. Hindsight. I wouldn't have claimed at all. I could have sheeped the Hydrad wagon right off the start and faust probably could have hammered then.

I wasn't online when the hammering possibility happened. When I got online, I knew it looked REALLY bad for me and Gin, so I simply acted like I saw it and debated when in actuality I got on too late.

Well, I did my best this game. I think I did pretty well, but circumstances didn't play out well.

Did everyone like my "Mafia B must be Faust" argument there? Total pro-town play there.
