chairs said that he was scum, and I agreed and thus voted for him. Also, I found his lurking a little scummy previously, and this was an excuse to vote someone. Awaclus isn't really happening.

I love my vote on Joseph. Seriously, chairs has a huge lurker meta. He gave a bunch of legitimate irl reasons for his absence. It's not as if we've had any super important events like a claim or something--that obviously would require input from everyone. I agree that him returning but not having anything to add is a tad scummy--but I don't know that that's a scumtell for chairs either.

And saying he claimed scum? This is just more thinly veiled OMGUS from Joseph. chairs has had his vote on him the longest I think, so it makes sense he wouldn't like that.

Okay, I was trying to get the game going, it's like 16 hours to the deadline and nothing is happening. I get that chairs had legitimate reasons, but we've got very little information this game, and I blame this on lurkers and short posters. Therefore, I would like to lynch one of them.
Especially as I'm not getting a scum vibe off anyone else.

Your claiming is WIFOM. I'm fairly certain someone (ADK?) said they would lynch you through a claim. Also, your refusal to claim could mean a lot of different things. I have no way of knowing which one of those possibilities it is though: my read on you makes me tend to think it's a scum ploy.

What I meant was that if you are like not going to claim ever, then it makes complete sense to lynch you while you're away. If you are considering claiming pending you getting lynched (which unfortunately isn't a sure thing at this point), that changes things. You only have like 3 votes on you right now; however, I'm not really seeing a good alternative wagon atm.

Having thought about it, claiming now is better than having to claim just before the deadline, which might cause hysteria like in M56. So, I'm a VT. Lynching me isn't the worst option, however I'd prefer we hit scum.

Also, I'm now actually going to bed, will be back in around 8-9 hours (5-6 am forum time).
