vote: Teproc

For not answering my question, not committing to his reads and his sarcastic scummy scum joke about scum and stuff.

Ah, a justification that ends in "and stuff", just the sign that you've found your day 1 lynch of choice.

WHat was the question I didn't answer ?

I had thought the "and stuff" is included in only the last part and not part of the entire list.  Otherwise there would be a comma in the list between "reads" and "his sarcastic scummy joke about scum".  Note no Oxford comma.

Actually my lynch of choice is ash. To me, putting someone at L-1 unannounced, telling everyone they're overreacting, calling everyone who disagrees scummy, and then doing it again as a joke sounds like a good "too scummy to be scum" strategy from ash. Do people really think what he's done is towny? I just don't understand that.

That said, I could do a Teproc lynch too.

Well, it's definitely not out of character for town Ash.  Or for scum Ash.  That's kind of the problem (from our end) with his playstyle.  He does a lot of things that you would absolutely consider townie or scummy for an unknown player, but from him they're entirely null since he does both things as both alignments.

Do you find it unlikely that he would do it as Town?

Like WW said I think it's just as likely he would do it as town than as scum. But does that mean we shouldn't lynch him the whole game? That's my point. He gets everyone to think "well yeah it's scummy but that's also just how ash acts" and has a free ride to the end of the game. Just like in WoT when he wasn't lynched until the second to last day or so. I think he's a great lynch for D1.

I've been trying to think how he could possibly benefit from drawing this much attention to himself and here's my theory. All I can think of is that it's not necessarily a scum agenda and it's definitely not a town agenda. It's an ash agenda. And part of that is distancing himself from everyone quickly so that as scum, no flips could be tied back to him as he's reacting the same to everyone.

Personally I see it as town!ash. I feel like although his methods may not be everyone's favourite he is at least getting us reactions by doing it this way. Hopefully we will be able to use the situations he's created to find scum.

For anyone else, such a statement would be a scum tell.  For Hydrad, it's simply a tell that you're reading something from Hydrad.

For me it's just because he jumped on my wagon at a time I felt like scum would. Overall though I don't really find what he's done scummy enough to be lynched i just wanted to have a vote somewhere so that we can get more reactions and hopefully find scum.

I'm voting him for being super jokey which is not like town!Teproc.

I currently imagine mail-mi wearing a dark trenchcoat and a bowler hat, hunched over a bit, toothpick in his mouth, holding a gun in his pocket.  One bead of sweat trickling down his nose.
