Bond has so many bad movies, but 2 of the recent 3 ones have made up for them and actually there is only 2 recent ones I don't know what I was thinking.
FTFY
For those that haven't noticed, both have Ja Bo as initials. Probably not a coincidence?
EDIT: I liked the first Bourne film, the second was alright, and the third was too much for me, too much of a genre shift. Yes, I know there are books, it probably worked better there.
About James Bond, I really like Pierce Brosnan, although he did get some of the most so-over-the-top-it's-absurd movies.
Tomorrow never dies was as crazy as it could get for me to enjoy it (and I really liked the villain),
Die another day was waaaay too much (although that fencing scene is badass, and the credit song is awesome).
Roger Moore was very similar to Brosnan, although his movies were usually zanier. They're fine. I have a friend who swears by Moore, but I have trouble taking them "seriously".
Sean Connery basically created the character, and Goldfinger may be my favourite Bond movie, so points there. He also gets a lot of Blofeld, which is good I guess.
Daniel Craig has changed the character a lot. I loved Casino Royale, it did pretty much everything right, although I think they could have cut the last sequence, it messes with the tempo of the movie a lot. Skyfall was nice, but it seemed to try to set up things for films to come, plus we're still waiting for Mr White to become relevant. We'll see.
