Pretty cool game, close down to the very last turn and... oh I wont ruin it for you. See for yourself how lucky I got.

I underestimated Altar in this one and picked one up too late when I should've gotten a couple a lot sooner. I also picked up haggler too late I think. I knew heralds would be very important so I grabbed as many as I could and tried to focus on building the engine, picking up wishing wells instead of silver. The gold on turn 11 should definitely have been an altar. I didn't see apprentice or jack working here although I never really know when to pick up jack so I could be wrong. Let me know what you think.

Your Ghost Ship should have been a Haggler. You don't want a Ghost Ship at all if your opponent is going for Heralds, especially not if he also has a bunch of Wishing Wells. On T3 I think I'd get a 2nd Masq over the Wishing Well, since trashing down fast is really important in Herald decks.

Thanks! Yeah heralds vs ghost ship is something else I learned from this game.

There is another combo in this game that is especially brutal and should be mentioned.  Village + Discard Attack + Masquerade = An unhappy opponent.  The reasoning here is that you force your opponent to a 3-card hand and then force them to pass you a card.  Assuming they keep a junk card that reduces their next hand to essentially a 2-card hand.  Now the presence of things like Wishing Well, Herald and JoaT make the power of Ghost Ship much less so this strategy isn't quite as viable in this game.   But it's worth mentioning and will stop a Big Money player dead in their tracks.
