To all the edge-casers:
-Yes, he knows that, because of a failed Bureaucrat.
-No, he doesn't win the game with this.
-No, he doesn't buy a Colony.
Ok, now it's your turn ;-)
If he knows he is going to lose, what's so bad about ending the game early instead of sitting through the other guys turn? Especially if you aren't playing with the point counter and he doesn't know for sure who will win if he three piles, its most certainly the right move to make.

That was so very, very bad. Especially given that these days, the Middle East is such a highly charged place. He reads ancient Egyption?!He has a hieroglyphic memory (and he's a chemist, which also helps). We're starting to see repeats! How did you remember this and find them???
I dont think its very good for that. You still need ten cards in the first game. And if you understand the concepts, i dont think its necessary to add cards one-by-one anymore.
Also, different starting decks are just confusing.
I would even expect that they have one themselves. Not much point in making some sequence of zeros and ones public without a method to read them.No my best guess is it will be text. They considered trying to match the isotropic logs.
I read this announcement (or plan) as that the logs are ALSO machine readable, like some XML or JSON or whatever, in contrast to isotropic where you have to parse the text to get it into the database.
On the occasions when you do want to go over a game, the log does a reasonable job. Apart from adding the missing information (what was discarded? what was passed with Masquerade?), for me the biggest improvement over a log would be a log "player", that allows you to step through the game turn by turn and action by action, displaying the information you get during a game plus extra details of the game state such as deck/discard pile contents for each player (along the lines of that currently provided for the logs on Council Room).
Taking screenshots is the trickiest part, since I can't do that at work. The writeup is finalized already and the screenshots will come as soon as I have an hour or so uninterrupted at home.
If the game is truly over at turn 6; resign FIRST and then say a polite gg.
Well... pile driver doesn't require you to do it in one turn, so cost reduction isn't really needed. With any reasonably competitive opponent, it really shouldn't happen unless you are both going for the mega turn, but I am pretty sure I have one or two Province pile drivers without Highway/Bridge.
I believe Masquerade is also the only card that can cause information about the contents of a player's deck to become unknown/untrackable. Though Native Village is an honorable mention in that category.
