I like Blessing, but Shady deal is either OP or does nothing with most events, especially OP with Dominate, Ball (you already have your - token the 2nd time), Conquest, Alms, or Pilgrimage.

Dominate doesn't do anything different does it?

"Gain a province. If you do +9."
With Shady Deal that's two provinces and 18VP tokens.

Haven't learned all the new names yet; I was thinking of the trash your deck as much as you want event.

Boomtown
Types: Action
Cost: $4
Reveal cards from the top of your deck until you reveal an Action card. Discard the other cards and play the revealed Action card.

Similar to Sage. Is it worth cost4?

The only similarity is that both cards dig. But Sage is a cantrip whereas Boomtown is a village. As Boomtown is a village with a bonus (due to the forced play it is not strictly better than Village but most of the times you rather want a Boomtown than a Village) it has to cost more than 3$.

Is a "+1 action" or something else missing in the text?  As written right now, Boomtown doesn't seem to let you play two other actions like most villages/spliters would.

I think the misunderstanding is that Seprix think that labour force do not put the action cards from your hand into play, so the actions can be played again?

I presume then that they also can not be gained by Disciple, Procession, Stonemason overpay or Summon.

Disciple does, the estate's in the supply are still copies of the one you played.

So a copy of a card means a card with the same name as that card? As opposed to an exact copy, abilities and all? I guess this makes sense in game, but I wouldn't consider a document named Secret Stuff containing nuclear launch codes to be a copy of a document named Secret Stuff containing my diary.

I love to imagine that the nuclear launch codes are contained in a doucment titled "Secret Stuff".

I think having that information in a document titled "My Diary" is even better.

And the content is the actual diary of someone, which is also the nuclear launch codes.

I feel that this would be either broken or pointless, but one possible reaction could be to gain from trash, something like this:

When a player gain a (??) card, you may discard this from your hand, if you do, gain a card from the trash costing less than it.

You can't really prepare your turn while another player is doing his, let's say you have a simple Smithy, you can't play it out of turn, draw a Moat and reveal it; would be fun though.

I've always wanted to try outright-race Dominion. 
You have a friendly agreement that noone will cheat, and you all just free-for-all take your turns as fast as you can, shouting "Witch!" whenever you play a curser and yelling "BINGO!" when the Provinces run out or the game 3-piles.  Then count your points.

Obviously a stupid idea in terms of competition, but, I suspect, hilarious.  Noone will play it with me because I'm a much faster shuffler than most of my Dominion playing friends.
Has anyone tried this?

Outpost would nearly useless, and Possession will be weird.

I am an Action card.  I am in your hand.  I am NOT a Reaction card.  I do, however, reveal myself when you play a different Action card, and then something happens to me (the "something happens to me" part is to rule out things like Shanty Town and Menagerie).  That is, I am an Action card that is "triggered" by something else, even though I am not a Reaction card.  I think that's weird, which is why I'm making a puzzle out of it.  Maybe this card should really be a Reaction card, not sure.  And is there more than 1 answer?  (I can only think of 1 answer.)

Any action card that can be returned to the supply by Ambassador?

Probably not your intended solution though.
