I should just take another comprehensive look at the board and maybe the rules. I've been mostly playing from my phone so it's hard to remember all that I can do at any given time and even tougher to know what I should do. I like this game, I can tell that there's a lot of depth and it'd be fun in person (and possibly in a second game online). I just don't want anyone to think I'm intentionally screwing them or anything with suboptimal choices; they're not extremely purposeful at this point.

Oh I understand what you mean. I really enjoy playing these games in person much more. They're easier in person and easier to remember things and what is going on.

oh man, i hadn't even thought about screwing other peopel over. I've been focused on getting resources, which feels good, even if I'm not sure what they're for.

I find it really hard to try and screw people over online since It's hard to pay attention to what everyone is doing by figuring out what has changed... IRL, it's much easier.

True, I usually play 2 player games so it's usually super important...

I predict he builds a room and then renovates. Doesn't look like you can do much about that though
