In Australia, college is high school. So confusing.

I think that's the case here in Canberra, but in Sydney where I grew up the only colleges I knew of were student halls within universities (something between a dorm and a fraternity, I think).

Maybe they're just the private schools?

I suspect many of these are fairly recent developments, too, which would be why I'm not familiar with them.
Yesterday I ran a mile. So I'm sure that sounds just silly to all those people who run marathons and all that, but I haven't been able to run a mile non-stop since 8th grade.

As someone who makes running a regular part of my life the hardest thing about running is not actually the running. It's getting out to do the running. Keep it up Gendo!
I currently imagine mail-mi wearing a dark trenchcoat and a bowler hat, hunched over a bit, toothpick in his mouth, holding a gun in his pocket. One bead of sweat trickling down his nose.
I GOT 35 ON THE ACT!

I got 16/42 points on the junior maths olympiad! That looks terrible but it's 37th place.

If so, well done, that's probably, what, two completely answered questions and partial credit for one?
