there's no evidence of that. If Galz's role got changed night 1, than he might have started out an Ironworks-Aligned Ironworks. That means that his cultleader powers were totally separate from his card. Hmmm... Maybe that's why it all got so weird? Because Galzria was meant to have a card power that complemented his abilities somehow but had it taken from him early.

I think Trader was just the role of the leader of the Ironworks faction. It sort of makes sense. Trader/Ironworks was that big, big debate where Donald actually changed his mind, and stuff. I think this is an ode to that.

But I was the Trader originally, so it couldn't have been the role of the faction.

When my role changed, there was some flavor within the PM.  There is more, but that is the relevant stuff for now.

Ability: [redacted], you would be immune to alignment investigation; you would appear to belong to the Deck... except you actually do belong to the Deck.  How peculiar.  And you don't feel particularly [redacted] either, though your forebears certainly must have.

To me, this suggests the person who had this role before me was curse/not deck.  Could Galz have gotten it from me without including me in his cult?  I dunno.  But he got it somehow because he died with it.  My theory is that he obtained it from a curse aligned cult member who swapped roles with me.

I was aware my explanation was overkill to such a small comment. It's because those reasons were ones that I had immediately. Would you have preferred I only give one reason, and then gave a second when I was under pressure? One reason for not taking notes is probably enough, you know.

So what Shark Bait says makes me wonder... what if whoever currently has Ironworks knows what it can do and it says that when that person is lynched, cult is freed (I'm assuming that was the intended trigger...)? If that's the case, then you can certainly see why whoever is IW wouldn't want to claim, better to wait a day and let someone else take the fall. IW/Trader is a possibility, though... although it makes me wonder why S_B would admit to having it. I don't think he would, so, I think I believe his claim.

I'm still suspicious of Volt. But only slightly. The role madness is taking centre stage here, it's much harder to scumhunt than normal methinks. Robz freely voting and unvoting, though, makes me slightly uncomfortable - that's not his normal play. Any comments, Robz?

Uh, what the heck? So Sharky was Trader before Galzria. That's... interesting. Okay. I don't know how that would have happened. I was recruited by Galzria Night 1, so it wasn't him being Trader that had the ability to do that, since there's no way he became Trader before Day 2. I guess?

The fact that my role changed... yes.  I didn't see how revealing that info so early would have helped.  My reasoning was that if a 3rd party had facilitated the swap and if I revealed my change, I could have just told scum who I was and what role I had.  I decided rather than come out then, that I would just sit on my change.

Well, SB, I don't know why people aren't getting this.

The only way I know of that people can swap roles is with the Masquerade role.  We fully tracked it's actions Night 2. We know some but not all of who it hit night 3/4.

But this is the first we've heard of it Night 1.

If we're lucky enough that only one curser was hit by it night 1, then we have the means before us to catch scum.  But what we need to happen is for everyone whose role changed N1 to claim what their role was before N1 and what it became. All we need are names. If those people claim, we can make a chain and figure out whose scum role sharky got. That person will be a more guaranteed curser than anyone we've called out so far.
