... maybe its to become the leader himself! That would be a sick cult (only the oldest member alive can win), but it makes sense. And explains everything (why Galz was KC'd for example). Comments on this theory, anyone?

Frisk: I'm still town. Galz death did nothing to me, probably because I lost my role as Black Market the night before he died. So I can answer questions about the cult, but I know probably less than you do. The cult leader is obviously eHalcyon, and the post restriction was because of possession (I can tell you this. There's no restriction on me revealing the restriction, fortunately - I was possessed, I had to make the first five posts I made today in caps, in pink, or I'd lose 3 VPs. That's everything I was told)

Before you guys call me out for lurking.  I recognize that I have posted almost (actually I think it is) nothing in this game this week.  I guess you could say I'm pulling a Robz.  It's been tough to keep up with everything in this game and in the other games.  This one has been especially confusing which has put it near the bottom of the list with mafia games and effort.  I realize that this play is anti town and I apologize.  I don't think I'll be able to catch up tomorrow (unless it's late in the evening) but for sure on saturday and sunday I will catch up on all the action and become an active participant.  Take care fellow f.DS scummafia buddies.  ;)

Eevee, a cult that works like that is pretty much Bastard Mod, as how would town win? Each night, cult can recruit, and town can only kill one person per day... in other words, Cult wins, and it's pretty random who would win.

For this cult to be balanced, they must be stoppable. Which... actually makes me think they are all telling the truth, the DON'T win with the cult. Because if they were, why not just keep quiet, silently misdirect the lynch, and win after a pretty short time? And while Cult is priority one right now, let's not forget some of the recruits might well be former curse faction, and the curse faction IS still as strong as it was at the start of the game.

Of course, it's certainly possible Robz is the other leader, as the first recruit. I've seen a game run like that. It ended badly for everyone but cult, but I've seen it.

Because suddenly possibly LYLO. I want someone in the cult to either confirm they don't know the number/names of other members, or if they do, perhaps just let us know how many their are. That would probably help town know just how much danger they're in.

Someone played Chancellor. Methinks that's probably a scum role... or maybe even someone allied with Galz. But I can't really see that many people being allied with Galz, he'd be overpowered if there were.

But would their original alignment change? eHal originally said that Deck and Curse alignments would not be switched but hmmm. Obviously deck/curse can be made into Ironworks, but could a role aside from the original cult leader do that? I don't know, it's all very weird. But I question whether swapping roles would change your alignment so easily. We may indeed have a new cult leader, but...are they sitting on a role which does not help their wincon? Very confusing.

We have a vast number of questions with very little in the way of answers.  Yet.

We need to hear from Robz.  Unfortunately, he has reduced availability this week.  But maybe he'll get to post briefly tonight?  Robz, you out there?

Also, here's a question no one has asked yet:  when we lynched Galz, it should have inflicted -15 VP and killed him.  It instead inflicted -4 VP.  Here's the kicker:  Galz himself clearly had no idea that was going to happen.  eHalc's flavor during the lynchpost made that clear, as did Galz's "ok you figured me out" admission posts after the hammer.  So what the heck caused that?  What made Galz survive what turned out to be two more nights, apparently growing the Ironworks cult even further, when he should have died at the lynch (and HIMSELF EXPECTED to die at the lynch)? 

...Anyone have any insight on that?

I think that the cultists don't in fact lose their abilities.

They teamed up to make the town and mafia spend a bunch of resources killing Galz, then Traded out who the Cult leader was.

I mean, a cult in a game where there's no lynch day 1 and no guaranteed lynch day 2 is already crazy strong. Also in a game where the mafia doesn't have a night kill.
