Alright, pushing exams aside, there's always a bit of time for some dominion. The first "multiplayer training session" will occur Saturday, April 28 at 3:00 pm EST. The kingdoms will be hand picked to illustrate dominion concepts that change with the amount of players. Some of these kingdoms will be ones taken from the sets to be used at the Oakland University Regional Qualifier. Others will be made by myself (and hopefully others who join).
Some of the concepts I plan on introducing are multiplayer attacks like Swindler (is it even possible to make an engine with 3-people messing with your deck?), Jester (yes please I'll take 3 Hunting Parties), Pirate Ship (I trashed my treasure but the others fed the ships...), Ambassador (can I even make an engine before the other players empty 3 piles?), etc. Also in the attack category are chained attacks coming from different players on consecutive turns like Masquerade/Militia or Torturer. Also worthy of note is the Gardens, SR, or City rush. How should these be played if only 2-players are approaching them? What about if 3 are pursuing the rush, do you as the 4th have to join them?
Hopefully we'll get a large response and many different games will be going on simultaneously! I'll plan on being in the secret chamber lobby and staying as long as possible seeing as I won't want to start up the exam studying. All levels of players are welcome. Whether you're unregistered, Level 10, or Level 40, I'll hope to see ya there!
