I'm probably one of the worst english speaker of this forum, my apologies. This is why I never write articles. But I think some cards definitely need an article. In my opinion, these cards are :

Base :
- Adventurer : because sometimes it's useful, but it's difficult to see where.

Intrigue :
- Coppersmith : noobs sometimes don't realize the huge potential of this card.
- Maybe pawn : less simple than it seems

Seaside :
- Outpost : for the same reason as coppersmith.
- Salvager :
- Pirate ship

Alchemy :
- Golem

Prosperity :
- Forge : difficult to use at the begining, there are various "additions" to know.
- King's court (I'm very surprised to read that this card don't have article yet...)
- Rabble : I only realized the power of this card seeing WW's videos...

Cornucopia :
- Horn of plenty : clearly. The power of this card is really not obvious at the first glance.
- Remake : Outside the "trasher" power, there are various fun remake tricks you could do, using it close to remodel than chapel...
- Harvest : A bit unpopular card, but I think there are more strategic depth than people give credit for.

Hinterlands :
- Develop : difficult card, really.
- Farmland
- Trader
- Tunnel : how many tunnels do you want, what are the different combos, etc...

Dark Ages :
- Poor house
- beggar
- Count
- Death cart
- Hermit
- Feodum
- Urchin
- Rats
- Knights
- Squire
- Graverobber
- Procession

I've been of a mind to write an Explorer article, but I just can't find the time.

That's the thing about writing these articles. There have been some very good ones written the the past so the bar is high.

I wonder if there would be interest in mini-articles?

I'll bet someone (like me) could blast off five bullet points or so on all of those cards above pretty quickly.

Or maybe we could just set up a Dominion Strategy wiki? We already know the structure for good articles. We could input the existing articles and add a few bullets on all the missing ones. Then people could add to them over time whenever they were inspired?

I feel like I want to write articles but I know nothing of simulation and don't think nearly enough about combos.

I would think that if you put out your 5 bullets on each, the balance of what needs to be said would evolve in the comments and ensuing discussion. Then, it would be a lot less work, though still admittedly work, to turn bullets and comments into an article. Most of the great articles did receive some modifications, based on comments, which is part of what made them great.
I guess that ends up being pretty close to the wiki idea that was suggested.

I could probably write an article on Coppersmith. It probably won't be too big though, just discusing combos, when you actually want it, and of course a basic overview of the card.

Good articles are hard. I should probably try anyway and y'all can critique me if it sucks... I'll give something a shot. Maybe adventurer. I like adventurer.

i have had a couple in mind and another i've started on. part of the problem for me is council room being down. that data and the ability to search games is really useful in putting together a solid article.

I'm glad to see I encourage people for writing article. If I were a native english speaker, Farmland, HoP and Harvest would be my targets.

On the other hand, an article with: The danger of Gold in Colony games can be nice.
I recently played a game where my opponent had like 10 Golds (but no Platinums) and bought 1 Colony to my 6.

I actually have a theory that beginners improve by learning how to play with gold. They then improve again by learning how to play with copper. From then on there is a continuing learning curve on how to play with silver.

I'll put together a primer article on procession. Some people are going to need that.

Me too, but as I've improved I think the basic thing is that Silver is not a useful card to many engines, and it's key to watch your 'treasure/vp' to 'important action' ratio.  How the top players keep it straight in their heads is beyond me.  For some decks, you do want the Silver flood, and it can help do things like distance 2 terminals or keep your Golds from colliding (so you don't overpay for Provinces, etc).
