Will the Salvager log search still work with 2.0?  Have they made the logs available for it?

When you complete a match, you will see ON THE WEB which provides you a text log. yed suggested on our forums that past logs be available, and I filed an improvement ticket for that. What comes of the request, I can't say, but the project lead will see it.

Currently it is (almost) impossible to downlod all 2.0 logs.

I can download any log if I know short time interval.
But there are 1000 possibilities for every second and one try tooks about one second

Maybe it is possible to do it paralelly, but you probably need multiple IP addresses to stay under the radar from Amazon DOS attack defence.

If the old Goko logs are going to be taken away, it would be really nice if we knew about it so we could at least attempt to copy them off somewhere and have them stored.

I have a feature request for the Kingdom Visualizer on gokosalvager.com:  It'd be cool to be able to enter a set of ten cards and have it be able to visualize a kingdom without having to point to a game log. This way we can use the visualizer to show & tell about IRL games.

It is really hard without MF support. It would come down to creating mining bots and launching them from several servers.

Failed joking aside, Jeff is really on top of those tickets. It's Jira for Agile software development. For the different games that I've done CS with, I haven't seen a lead handle them anywhere as well as he does. He also likes having a pool of ideas from users to look at once the game is out of beta. The tickets must flow, and they flow through Jeff. Yikes, bad joke to start and bad allusion to end.

The users have the reality of the game logs right now and they know exactly how useful they are. An 'idea' of game logs potentially being implemented at some time beyond release seems inadequate by comparison.

I believe the logs are currently available, it just hasn't been publicized in case the link gets prettier.

Yes obv. statistics (beyond leaderboards) should be a very low priority for MF, since anyone with access to the logs can work on that if they want to.

I will ask AI to run it at http://v2.gokosalvager.com (but I am not sure if he has time for it).

There are 2 issues:
1) MF does not list logs from current day
2) Logpritifier only works with this Chrome extension:
https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/allow-control-allow-origi/nlfbmbojpeacfghkpbjhddihlkkiljbi (DISABLE this extension after using logprettifier, it can be a security hole)
Reason MF does not add Access-Control-Allow-Origin: * header as Goko did.
