Plague sounds freakier than curse does. Why not just call it penalty or something.

I never really understood why Harem gives you money, although this thread suggests that there is something about their history I don't know (and don't want to know). I always Imagined them as being some sort of anime harem whose members regularly go on quests to find gifts to win the favour of the harem hero.

So, Harem-> Gambling House?

This thread just makes me want to finish my retheming of dominion in a 1800s agrarian setting. Curses are Temptations, things that keep you from getting your work done. Ill Gotten Gains is Tavern. Witch is Lovely Daughter (she helps you get more done around the farm but boy does she distract your neighbors). I think Harem would be your hard working wife, your loving and equal partner?

I agree that Harem probably doesn't really fit the age category of the game, but it could be leveraged into an honest conversation about gender in societies.
