You could give a max bid until someone drops out...and I'll just go until one of the two others drops out.

I'm not a computer, I can take lots of conditional statements into account. And I won't pass for anybody unless they've told me to. You could say something like: go to $50 or until one of the other players drops, at that point ask me again.
