Combo: Scavenger/Stash

For those of you who know the Chancellor/Stash combo, this is pretty much the same. Just get two Scavengers and three Stashes, and your good to go. Scavenge the Scavenger every time, play three Stashes, buy Province, put three Stashes on top of your deck when you shuffle.
To elaborate a bit, you should probably open Scavenger/Silver (double Scavenger on a Baker board). When you have $5 buy Stash, $4 Scavenger, otherwise Silver.

What does this combo have going for it? It very fast. Much faster than S
Chancellor/Stash. It can be completely set up by turn 6. Which means it can empty the Province pile by turn 14 . Of course that's with perfect shuffle luck, so it's usually a bit slower, but still fast. Discard attacks (other than Urchin) hinder it severely, but it's mostly resistant to other attacks. So in absence of discard attacks and an obviously better strategy, (very rare) I would do this combo every time it appears.

I play Lookout, revealing a Fortress, a Tunnel and a Gold.

This was pointed out several hours after the Dark Ages cards were revealed.

Scavenger/Stash FTW

Slightly disappointed that there is only one Looter in the set.  I thought there would be at least one more card that hands out Ruins.

It is on the wiki also.

You need to get a sixth combo piece if you want guaranteed consistency. But in practice you'dhave to get really iunlucky to draw both Scavengers in hand.
