Are you willing to edit the first post as a list of currently signed-up players, mail-mi? I think that would be best, especially if people subscribe/unsubscribe as their interest/time allows.

And also, this is just taking a step away from spectators, and giving it to mods. Now, mods have to look at the list, and then crosscheck it with their game, and then doublecheck to make sure they're not sending the speccy to someone playing the game, and in the end it's more work for the mod.

What was wrong with just PMing the mod? Being given the spectator thread is a service done by the moderator to the spectators -- it should be spectators who take the extra step to go out of their way to request the QT, rather than adding another step to the moderator.

In my experience as a mod, I want lots of spectators. More people will get the speccy this way, because people forget to ask. Also, fewer PMs to send if I just send it to everyone right at the start.

I think most speccy threads are kept spoiler-free, at least for the first couple of Days, so that spectators can sub if necessary.
