Man, I need to check the Misc forum more often. Retroactive congratulations and I hope your first few days of marriage are going well!

I was going to use the Feast/Great Hall line, but we ended up eating dinner beforehand, so I went with the "pay Tribute to these two Adventurers" instead.  I completely forgot the "join me in wishing well to their new life together" which was my favorite line in the whole thing.

The wedding went off fabulously.  There were zero disasters of any sort, except for the fact that rrenaud did put the ring on the wrong hand ... ;-)

All in all it was definitely my second-favorite wedding ever.

rrenaud did, though only because he had known about it already.  (He actually wanted me to read jonts' post verbatim.)  I don't think the other boardgamers did.  Though to be fair, you must understand that this is approx. 9PM and the libations had been flowing freely for quite some time.

I don't think I know rrenaud that well, certainly not enough to be part of a speech at his wedding.

What's funny is that just the other night I had a dream that my roommate got married without inviting me to the wedding.  Which is probably not actually a coincidence cause weddings happen all the time, I really just don't pay that much attention to them.  I am still a single bachelor that ruins first dates using Dominion (just kidding) (no one would do that right) (actually not just kidding I brought Ambassador pong to a first date.  I am a Scout tier courtshipper.  Please don't post this on my facebook)

I did not play Dominion on a first date again today, and I definitely did not build a deck that plays Militia every turn.  Because I've learned from my mistakes.  And don't repeat them.



Even after the guilt about my antisocial buying choices I lost the game anyway.  Curse base and its Big Money.

Depends on what metrics you use!  They might have made millions of dollars in profit off of it, but we had karaoke at ours, so I think we came out ahead.

Pretty sure no one brought Echoes to the wedding.  I read about that fiasco in a tabloid.
