:/ After making last, last, and second to last in the three nonmafia forum games I've played I wanted to play one of the same ones and get better at them.  I see the value in experimenting too, I guess, but I feel like I am really slow whenever I pick up a new game for the first time, if it isn't super similar to something I've already played.  I would like to at least know what the hell I'm doing and lose rather than just lose.

Which games did you most recently play?

Terra Mystica, Terra Mystica, and Mage Knights.  Not necessarily in that order.

I've never played either of those games, but they look daunting enough that I think I'd want to try them out in person before trying them out PbF...

I played Hanabi tonight. It's really fun. It might be too slow for a PBF, but it would definitely be really interesting to do.

Hanabi's fun until your group's conventions are established. Then it just becomes following a script.

I'd like to play as well but if no one wants to mod ill start a game in a week or so.

I also realized from reading these games that I played incorrectly the first time we played. We played you had to specifically play on a single pile, which made it more difficult, I think.

Some of this games (like Lords of Waterdeep, for instance) I wish there was a dedicated UI for, like Isotropic/Goko is for Dominion.  They're just easier for me to visualize that way.
