Those are good, right? Yeah I'll do that.

To clarify: the only wonder with an effect is the Great Wall.  All other wonders are just points.

Only wonders and developments give points.

...spin-offs are still better for all of the previously cited reasons.
But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

Not good, but I guess I'll live with it.

Rolled 1, 3, 6, 6. +3 food, +3 workers, +4 goods. Lose 2 points.

Put 3 workers onto city 5. -4 food. I'll pass on developments for now.

Ok so I'm collecting 5 food (the 1 die and the 4 die), 6 workers (both 3s), and a single skull has no effect.

Feeding my cities, finishing the next city, and adding the last worker to the great wall.

Feed my cities, have 1 food left, I get one of every good, and three workers to put on City 5, completing it. I think I lose 1 Vp for two skulls.

Okay, that gives me +6 Food (8 total), 3 workers, and 14 coins.
Feeding cities leaves me with 3 food left over.
Putting 1 worker on the City 6. Putting 2 workers on the Great Wall.
Selling 1 Wood for 1 coin.
Spending 15 coins to gain Quarrying

But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

You know what? It's not perfect, but it'll do - I'd have liked to make that 5th city (I'd have liked to make it on turn 1 but you know...)

That's 14 coins, +3 food (spend 4, leaving 1), +2 goods. Sell my Wood (3) and Stone (3) for +18 coins. Buy Masonry.
