Had a dream about a card called Super Haven, adjusted its abilities quite a bit and here it is:

Super Haven
Cost $5
+$1
+1 Card
+1 Action
Set aside any number of cards from your hand face down. At the start of your next turn, put it into your hand.

Action - Duration

Should be put THEM into your hand.
Too good. Actually looks like a cross between haven, tactician, peddler.

Or alternatively, this is close to what it was in the dream, like a cross of Haven and Native Village:

Super Haven
Cost $5
+1 Card
+1 Action
Set aside any number of cards from your hand face down onto the super haven mat. At the start of your next turn, choose one card from the super haven mat and put it into your hand.

Action - Duration

That is too good. Say my hand consists of a super haven, another good card, and 3 VP cards. Play super haven, set aside everything in my hand. Next turn, I get the good card, and those VP cards are gone from my deck.

--> Cantrip
--> Multiple cards going onto the mat at once

It is way way way better than the pseudo-trashing that DOES happen with Island and CAN happen with Native Village.

WAY.

I also have proposed a card called Super Haven, but I took it in a different direction. Rather than allowing you to set aside any number of cards for a single turn, it allowed you to set aside a single card for any number of turns.

I think if you changed it to "up to three" rather than "any number," it might be more sane at $6.

Yes I see now that they are all too strong.

Maybe with a limit of two cards to hide away, and not automatically returning them to your deck at the end of the game.
Retains the Haven ability with add-ons and a penalty. You cannot simply "island" away victory cards to thin out your deck but you can use it to "trash" one card at a time.

Super Haven
Cost $5
+1 Card
+1 Action

Set aside up to two cards from your hand face down onto the super haven mat. At the start of your next turn, choose one card from the super haven mat and put it into your hand. Cards on the super haven mat are not returned to your deck at the end of the game.

Action - Duration

I admit I kind of like the idea of hiding a growing treasure trove of cards to use in the future... I think I addressed most of the concerns? The idea was to be able to use it to "get rid" of cards but as pointed out, it was too much stronger than island. Is it still too strong you think? Thanks for all the feedback guys!
