Good news, everyone! The Guilds cards don't create any new collisions for name abbreviations. Merchant Guild is the only MG and Candlestick Maker is the only CM. All the one-word names are unique with their first four letters.

Hooray! Newbies will still have trouble deciphering our conversations because we can't be arsed to type out the full card names! I was worried until you posted this thread.

Hey, what do you think about Soot? It seems to be worse than Witc and Moun. Also MG is probably weaker than Goon, and Butc is basically the same as Remo.

People might abbreviation Stonemason as SM, but that is also Spice Merchant.

Also, a lot of people are calling it Stonecutter, which is SC, which is Secret Chamber.  SCs will certainly meet in SCs.

But there SHOULD be. Stonemason clearly needs the +Buy. Or Woodcutter some trash thingy.

:P I don't know the Guilds cards yet, but it was more, "If I had to make abbreviations for them (which I do sometimes) that's what I would do."
