Because my opponent disappeared (I got that "your opponent is having connection difficulties" message, but I know he just left without resigning because I was beating him and he's a jerk) and, well, I've been sitting here awhile.

If this game doesn't end itself--with a win for me--that's a major step backward for Goko.

Wait, confusion! I just checked the game log so I could keep my opponent's name in mind, and at the end it said, "Cole quit. First place: Robz888."

Hooray! But like the game looks like its still in progress. What do I do here to start another game? Should I close the screen and then quit Goko? What if I choose to resign now, will it take away my win?

For science, I hit "Resign Game." It won't let me! Doing that has no effect!! I am trapped!!!

This happened to me once, and I think refreshing my browser worked (as in it got me back to the home page or the lobby).

Yeah that works, I just want the points I earned from winning, and want to make sure I get them.

Open another tab, log in there and check the leaderboard, if it shows (+XX) then you know you got the points and you can close the other tab.

Back when you could quit without losing, I kept a list of people who quit on me under suspicious circumstances, intending to avoid them in the future. I consulted the list only occasionally, as I found it too much of a burden and remembered most of the names anyway. Your present foe, however, managed to benefit from my laziness, which earned him the following medal of dishonor in my 'Quitters.txt':

Strangely, I am pretty sure I had an opponent leave on me, but never got the whatever option replaces resign. And actually, I couldn't refresh the page without 'stopping' loading the page first. I'm still fairly sure that it was him and not me, though, because I could still do whatever I wanted. So, eventually just reloaded the site, and ever since then, I can't check the leaderboard at all - though I *think* I did gain points off that. But it is hard to tell.

Same problem for me twice, but both times happened in my opponents first turn with the connection difficulties message, but then the game would stand for a long time, eventually saying I got a win, but not going back to the screen saying I won. Seems like something on Goko's part.
