Mandarin Bug Report

Just tried swindling a card into a mandarin and isotropic broke. It's probably some coding error in handling the on gain when it isn't your turn.

So maybe don't try swindling things into mandarins. Not that it was actually a good strategic move. I was just curious.

Heh, metzgerism reported a similar problem in the preview thread on BGG, also with Swindler.  I imagine hitting a Mandarin with Jester would do something similar... if you were foolish enough to hand your opponent the Mandarin.  Looks like the player.play_area object only exists for the current player... which makes sense, no one else has a play area.

Thankfully, face-to-face play doesnt' have this bug; the outcome is obvious.

The table spontaneously breaks, game aborts. Just like online... ::)

No, silly, in face-to-face play each player has a player.play_area object in front of them all the time, not just during their turn.

Depends on the size of your table...
