We're almost halfway through May, and still we don't even have a concrete release date.  What did we know about Cornucopia at this point in 2011?

EDIT: Yes, it has. So there you go. At this point, we knew everything about Cornucopia. Honestly I think it's better this way. It made the wait longer when we knew everything and were just waiting for the physical release.

I have the impression Goko won't get the cards before official release this teame, probably due to leaking them for DA.
I think they said on getsatisfaction theyre gonna implement it after the physical release.

We will have Guilds too and the only reason there would be a delay is if there are other important projects whose releases need attention at the same time (e.g. mobile/tablet platforms.) But ideally, it will be online shortly after the physical game.

If they had the information already, they'd be aiming for a synchronous release

If they want to get it out shortly after release, I hope that means they have programmed the cards and have been testing them, or that "shortly" means something along the lines of "after a minimal amount of delay as necessitated by ensuring that the cards don't break the game."

Ugh! I will be so pissed if we have to wait a month+ to get the cards. Getting DA was a long ass wait.

Ugh.  All my Dominion zest has been sapped away by Civilization 5 and *its* upcoming expansion, for which a lot more is known.  Knowing stuff about Guilds would be just the thing to get me re-hooked.

Also, does Origins charge admission? If so, definitely not worth paying a bunch of money for the privilege of buying Guilds early.

EDIT: Actually, it's only $10 for a day pass. That would be worth it (to me)!

The book was better.  And honestly, it's not really the best of Maguire's books anyway.  I recommend Confessions of an Ugly Stepsister.

The book was... weird. And I say this as a diehard Oz fan. But oddly enough, I really liked the fourth book, which I thought was captivating and resolved the series nicely.

Remember how everyone had wet dreams about the 4/5 opening when Nomad Camp came out? This card makes that dream come true. Also,  losses because of opening splits won't be as common with Baker in the kingdom. Although, I guess there will be some instances of people losing to a Goons/Hamlet opening every now and then.

The thing about Baker over Nomad Camp is that you don't have to open Baker to get the higher cost opening.
