Hmmm, Renovate/MIMI as the opening action of phase 2. I don't think that's particularly likely to excite anyone just yet.

Luckily I have been bluffing about my occupations this whole time and I have a "all renovations are free" occupation!

That exists, right?

I would say that takes at least one or two play throughs to get... it is also highly dependent on your cards.  But I would say: establish a source of food, make family larger, do things to get points.  So do things in that order.

I enjoy it.  Only problem is, in order to get the most benefit you have to use fences multiple times.  Each time forgoing the ability to take a different action...

Is draft mode implemented so you pass cards simultaneously?

I went for the 4 Reed. I think I've got enough spare actions to feed my family without too much trouble, and not having to worry about reed for several turns is a very good place to be.

Is anyone of you able to select an action on a(n Android) phone? It doesn't work for me :(
it worked fine for me, it just wasn't to happy with the fencing dialogue, so I did that on my computer.

I was thinking about getting the sheep just to mercilessly slaughter them.  Guess I can't put it off with JR watching for them too. :P

I think I may be too worried about short term things and not getting ready for long term things. :\

actually, I've found the short term is almost more important.  You can usually adapt later...
