Programming an online CCG

So hey guys, I'm interested in creating my own CCG off of an idea I tried to make into an RPG about a year ago.  That idea flopped, to say the least, but I think it would be much better suited to a CCG.  Before I get into details of the game itself, I just wanted to ask around to see who has programming experience.  I'm guessing the game will be browser based, so I have questions about how I'd be able to host it, and I'm also looking for advice on how to go about programming everything.  I PMed dougz, but he's a busy guy, so if any of you out there could help me, that would be awesome.  If people respond in an interested or advisory manner, I'll start posting details about the game itself.  Thanks in advance!

P.S. this has nothing to do with the Hex Deck in my other thread.

Could you possibly use this to do the testing?

Fuck Apple with a rosebush for making apps that are ONLY usable on an iPad.  This is a prop I can actually give to Goko - they're at least trying to make Dominion cross-platform.

So I've started doing some rudimentary aspects of the programming in Python - is that fine for a language for gaming, or can anyone recommend a better one?

Isotropic is implemented in Python.  It's a solid choice.

Awesome.  In fact, something like isotropic is probably what I'm going for.
