Discussion on the description text

So what do people think of the description this time around?

I think it's pretty good... good when compared to worse descriptions, at least.

My favorite line/joke is that there are guilds to cover both cheesemaking and cheese destruction. That or the ironic tilling. But as a whole, only a couple lines that really made me laugh.

I think it does the job that it needs to do, and it's fine, it just seems a bit, I don't know, lacklustre compared with some of the others.

It's better than Cornucopia's.

Yeah. I think Alchemy or Intrigue is best.

I don't really like it; Dark Ages will remain my favorite.

I like it a lot. Especially the ironic tilling bit.

It's pretty great! Second only to Hinterlands, probably.

I have never really cared about these things. What is important are the kingdom cards.

I preferred the Hinterlands blurb, and I think this is a bit meh. However, it does give us an insight into Guilds' "cheese" subtheme, where some cards will give you a bonus if you are eating cheese, or if you're not eating it, or if you're eating it ironically.

Not impressed with this one.  Bottom half IMO.  What's with all the cheese?

My favourite line is:
" It has coin tokens that you can save to spend later, and cards you can get more out of by paying extra for them."

Cuz, you know, it tells you something about the expansion! \o/

How great is it that we've all been trying to wring a few drops of sweet sweet information from the leaked Guilds card costs, and now it turns out the costs are variable?
