Turn 4 (both players) is the relevant part

My opponent melded masonry, then began drawing.
I spammed clothing for a long time. On turn 4, I played it twice, scoring 6 cards in total, and achieving "Monument".
Immediately afterwards, my opponent played monument, and melding 4 cards.
It took me a while to understand why it didn't mention him getting an achievement.

To talk strategy, I think this is a strong demonstration of why Masonry requires some form of an enabler.

Thanks for the game, Kurgan!

You do get people who don't realise that not melding the colours as fast as you can against Clothing is a mistake. Sometimes you can't help it but I have seen people grimly drawing cards with Masonry on their boards even after I've got Monument by scoring six in a turn with two uses of Clothing.

Sometimes You just get bad draw luck when trying to block Clothing. Had an Echoes game where i had an Age 1 draw and tuck echoes card. Dogma it twice and tuck a purple that I already had twice in a row. But generally you want to get colors our as soon as poosible against Clothing

Using masonry to claim Monument is not as good as you think. Unless you get the wheel, otherwise, keep drawing and drawing do not contribute much to your board.
