I've never had to wait this long for at least news of a new expansion before. All we have from this one is the title and the size. NOTHING ELSE. Well, aside from some slippage, and knowing that it's essentially done - so basically, Jay is just smugly holding it over our heads while copies are printed. I AM SAD.

I saw the board title as I was skimming over and thought it said "Guilds Spoilers"

I did a double take, checked what it actually said, then had a sad.

Still I doubt it'll be that long before the first spoilers? I mean it's (very likely) meant to come out in less than 3 months, right?

If by spoilers you mean the box image and description, I'd hope we'd see that within another month or so. We may not get any card previews at all until the whole set is spoiled. Personally, I'd love it if Donald did a one-card-per-day preview on the week leading up to release. Those are always exciting.

I agree, but I think that would decrease the excitement of the set actually being released (and increase the number of people who proxy up the cards).

Apparently Cornucopia information was already leaked in January 2011 - the theme of variety, and the fact that it would feature 5 unique cards (which would end up being the Prizes). So why have we heard next to nothing about Guilds so far?

Probably because Jay learned his lesson about releasing info too early. I remember there being a loooong wait between that info being revealed and the set being released. Too long. If I recall (don't quote me), Cornucopia was supposed to be out in early Spring, which made the wait much worse.

They'll be on Goko. Optimally, the day the set releases. Realistically, this fall.

rumor has it that guilds is available before Origins, which is June 12th. This comes from a guy who is hired to do dominion demos at origins & Gencon.

I recently lost access to Goko's beta site, so I imagine they are using it to implement/test Guilds cards now. It seems logical that they're aiming to release simultaneously. That being said, I agree with ftl; it's unlikely they're delaying the physical release for the digital one.
