Why Wolverine?

It's from X-Men: Legends, a 1-4 player co-op console game I used to play heaps with my brothers and a friend. At the start of the game there was only Wolverine until he came into contact with others who could join him, and naturally being the oldest I got to be Wolverine. Then I realised how awesome he was. The ability to automatically self-heal saved us so many times, plus he had some brutal attacks. He was my preferred character to play as from then on, with my second being Gambit. My friend generally played as Storm, and my brothers as Cyclops and Iceman. Before I played my first game of Mafia I decided I better get an avatar, and I remembered that that was my desktop background for ages.

What Dominion card gave you a memorable reaction to it when you first read it?

Torturer, but mostly when I re-read it.

Up to that point the attacks have been pretty mild. Two Militias aren't worse than one and if someone played two Witches, you just sighed and took the Curses. Spy could also be annoying but once you showed a Copper you were pretty safe. Heck, even Bureaucrat wasn't that big of a deal, because you rarely held XX-EEE anyway.

I think the first time we played with Torturer we just assumed it worked like Militia and wasn't stackable so it was a big surprise to our group when multiple Torturers were played in a row. We all thought: "How can an attack this powerful be stackable?"

Who would I meet on a dominion card...  Hm...  I don't know.  Maybe the guy on the mine with the big beard because I've made jokes about him before...

I don't know, the joke I make about him is how he looks like a guy from a game called dwarf fortress.  Those dwarves can be pretty unpredictable at times...

It's the skill icon for Chaos Knight's Critical Strike ability from Dota 2. I liked the idea of using a d20 for that.

What kind of game is Dwarf Fortress?

It's kind of a hard game to explain...  You run a fortress of dwarves and you're trying to keep it alive.  One interesting thing is that while you say what to do, the dwarves do it when they feel like it.  It has tons of fantasy elements in it.  But one of the craziest things about it is how life-like and complex it is.  Each dwarf has it's own personality and will define how they react under situations, the ground has tons of different types of rocks and ores in them, and lots of other crazy things.  It's been in development for several years now, and the guy who makes it says he plans on finishing it around 2030.  People joke that by then it will be a full simulation of a universe down to the quantum level...  Anyway, here is the website for it, if you want to look at it.
