Hey, I should read what we're actually doing here. I don't think I've read a post since my /in!

Ozle, could you give a list of whose in each room (assume people can't hide)?

Also just to check, does each team have a Bouncer, Gargoyle and Security?

BLUE TEAM PM

Blue is clearly the best colour, it is the colour of the sky and the sea. The biggest animal is the Blue Whale. It was a great dance tune by Eiffel65....ok well ignore that last one!

Go Blue!

-----------------------

RED TEAM PM

Congratualtions, you are in the RED TEAM. Red, the colour of love...and also blood! And who doesn't LOVE BLOOD! Lets get down with the violence!

Roses are Red
The Nighttime is black
Lets give those blues
A Knife in the back!

----------------

Room 1

Eevee, ashersky, Dsell, Galzria, Grujah, Twistedarcher

Hey, your room number and round match! Isn't that fun!

------------------------

Room 2

Tables, Jimmmmm, Qvist, Archetype, sudgy, liopoil

Room 2 is twice as good as Room one, numbers do not lie!

I don't really mind. But it's standard for both teams to have the same (or equivalent) roles. Not necessary so it's okay if that's not the case.

Oh and just to make things easier:

Private reveal requests. Bold these to make them, e.g. Request Co-reveal with X or Request Colour reveal with Y in the QT. Accept them in the same way, or retract them. But if someone accepts while you have it active, you can't back out (should be obvious but you know). If you colour reveal, send them a PM here with your colour (no lying).

You can also choose to private reveal directly. If you do post Private (Colour/CO) reveal to Z in the quicktopic and then send them your colour/card.

You can whisper to people, if you do, post Whisper to X. People can't hear you whisper, but they can see you're doing it, after all.

You can choose to publicly reveal your role or colour. If you do, bold it in the QT, e.g. I am the BLUE President.

In general, whenever you're taking a game action, put it in bold and you CANNOT lie. You can bold things, but don't bold claims of your colour or role to avoid confusion.

Finally, keep gameplay to the QTs. This should be for rules questions and the like primarily.

I like the not lying thing, because in real life you would show your card, so you can't lie.

Yeah. Note that you're not prohibited from lying, e.g. you can just post and say you're blue. Just if you're revealing things, you must be honest.

those PM just give them the role name.

Roles are listed in the rules.

Roles:

The blue team wins if the President is in a different room to the Bomber at the end of the game. If they're in the same room, the red team wins.
However, there's a twist: If the Doctor and the President don't co-reveal, then the red team wins. And similarly if the Engineer and the Bomber don't co-reveal, then the blue team wins. This can lead to both teams winning, which is like kissing your sister and isn't really winning at all.

I think it's probably not too late to adopt this, but the BGG method of picking a leader is that you have a constant vote, much like you would for a lynch in mafia. Unlike RL, people aren't all available at the same time, so this lets you elect a leader together without issue of timing.

In case of nobody getting a majority, the first person to be voted for by someone else in the room becomes leader. In the unlikely case of everyone voting for themselves, leader is randomised among those voting for themselves.

Sudgy just said he can't play... I presume that isn't a lie, and that's... an issue.

Wouldn't it make more sense to say that if the Bomber and Engineer don't co-reveal, then the Blue Team wins only if they save the President? I mean, if the Bomb doesn't go off and the President dies anyway, the Red Team have still achieved their goal in killing the President.

Then you have games with no winners. It used to be that way until playtesting showed the current way was better, I believe.

I assume theres no problems giving spectators links to both (and set up info) as long as they dont post?
Not sure why anyone would want too though....suppose they could chat with me about it.

No you don't, the President has to either live or die. Surely the President living is a Blue Team win, and him dying is a Red Team win.

It kinda limits sub-ins, which could be an issue in a game this size.

Edit: That said, I am still fine with it, but the sub-in issue could be a hiccup.
