Apparently, you can have people vote using the poll, it has all the options needed:

People can remove votes, revote, see who voted for whom, leave comments even.
Also, you can remove and make new poll each new day.

I thought about it, the only downside is that if people remove their votes after a hammer before the mod sees it you won't see there was a hammer.

- When a player votes in the poll, they should also vote in text (like a regular game).
- Players should police, i.e. when you see someone vote, check to make sure they did so in the poll.
- The mod should still periodically post vote counts (which would basically amount to copy+pasting the poll).
- Honour system -- if there has been a hammer, don't unvote.  It should be trackable if people post to the thread when they vote, anyway.

Not quite seeing what's new, didn't we have options to change votes as an option before?

This feels like it misses the benefit of doing that poll in the first place ... though I suppose it does count votes.  Remember also that it would require a new topic.

This kind of poll is really better suited for a "let's see who has most votes by X time", not "let's see if someone gets to X votes".

Yeah, the having it in the separate thread and being able to switch votes casually, not to mention the opportunity for other people not in the game to vote on it.
If it could be done in thread that would be nice, but doubt that's possible.

Not for mafia anyways , I expect some other games could use it

The benefit would be a constant running total and easier vote counts for a mod. But that only works if we can see who voted for whom.
