Righty then. I have no idea what I'm doing.

But not strictly better, because the spinoff can have a different cost than the expansion.

You seriously took 4 wood? That's the worst opening you can possible make. I think if you were looking for an equivalent Dominion opening, that would be Scout/Scout.

:(

Pretty sure I could have done worse, taking 3 wood instead...

You don't know about the terrible "Fire" event that occurs after the first round and destroys a room of your hut if you have more than 3 wood?

Mhmm, ok, since that doesn't exist, I guess your move wasn't that bad.

Obviously you should have taken Fishing for 1 Food. You need Food to feed your family at the Harvest!!

Fishing? There are better options for your first action, such as house building and/or stables building.

One thing about the site's interface is you have to press "End Turn" to actually commit the action and end your turn. On the bright side, you can undo your action if you misclick or have instant regret for any reason.

(subtly hinting that it's still Kuildeous's turn until he presses "End Turn")

My turn is after yours but today is my stay-at-home-and-guard-the-baby-day so have to see if I can get around to it.

I'm sorry, but I do not like being last. I really don't.

Notice that I didn't even build an improvement.

I do like to add that I don't understand why there have to be a gazillion cards for Agricola.

I mean, the same can be said about Dominion, but the game resolves entirely around the cards so it makes sense.
Agricola would still be fun with just a base deck, I think.

But then again I haven't played a lot of Agricola. The cards add some strategy yes, but why so many decks?

Probably because it's an easy way to expand the game. There's a lot of design space there that doesn't mess with the game as a whole.

Also, forum users play-agricola.com, have been able to collectively design two decks (G and WM) that were officially published, and they're working on a third one. It seems like with the design space, if you have an idea for something a card could do, there's probably a way to make it work, and they can implement and test the cards they come up with.

tl;dr - because they can (also it's fun)

3 food for every future occupation play, AND an excuse to not have to think too hard? Sounds good to me! Kuildeous, match that!
