I think the nomination period was, perhaps, not as well publicized as it might have been.

i.e. I had no idea any of this was happening.

Right, I knew there was an idea, but I was not aware that it had been executed.

I mean, I get my proverbial ostrich head stuck in the sand of my "Recently Read Topics" pretty often and miss big things going on, so maybe it's my fault.

Yes your right, i could have publicized it better, next time i'll write it on a christmas card and hand deliver it your house for you.

Bloody hell, no matter what anyone does in this forum there is always someone who moans that its not 'exactly' what they wanted !
If i had put threads in other forums or sent out PMs then someone would complain 'that they didnt want to see that stuff', so we have a seperate forum, where threads were posted, people discussed them, so they would have shown up in new posts frequently for people

I give up.

Geez. I already owned up to it maybe being my issue and not yours. I regret writing "It wasn't publicized well." And I regret that you took that as a personal criticism.

All I meant to do was respond to Robz's criticism with my own personal perspective, which is that I didn't realize nominations had begun until they were over.

I vote that you only vote in the event of a tie to be the deciding vote. I don't any ties coming out of this... rejoicing in shared victory? What kind of an outcome is that anyways?
